I decided to abandon noobs
So i made a SquashFS of runeaudio 0.4 beta.

Berryboot has so many advantages over noobs.

to add hifiberry dac + with berryboot

edit config.txt

change "dtparam=" line to "dtparam=i2c_arm=on"
add this lines "dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus"
"dtdebug=1"

If you could explain what you are trying to do here, I would be interested in trying it, since I would eventually like to be able to multiboot Rune Audio with Mate, or some other Debian flavor-of-the-day branch, and I imagine other people would too.

ok, install berryboot (http://www.berryterminal.com/doku.php/berryboot) follow the instructions " To install: extract the contents of the .zip file to a normal (FAT formatted) SD card, and put it in your Raspberry Pi. This can be simply done under Windows without any special image writer software.
Once you start your Pi it will start an installer that reformats the SD card and downloads the operating systems files from the Internet."
Now you can install openelec, raspbian, ubuntu mate etc...
to install runeaudio 0.4, download the prepared image by me in SquashFS format in the above link. Sart berryboot Put your SquashFS formatted image on a USB stick, go to the “Operating system installer”, hold down your mouse button over “Add OS” and select “Install from USB stick” If your image prefers to have a certain memory split use the extension .img128 .img192, .img224 or .img240 instead of .img. Now you can add or remove others os with runeaudio.
To add hifiberry dac + follow the instructions above. I think that berryboot probably can work with other i2c dac too.

I am totally new at this. Though it was clear that Runeaudio does not yet officially include support for Kali Reclocker and Piano 2.1, I went ahead and got those after reading the reviews. However, it didn't work at first!...and I did not know why. After a week of trying, I realized that I installed rune under Barryboot......and found this post....within 5 min, I was up and running using iqaudio dacplus driver. That being said, thank you for this post!...
