What HiFi magazine (UK) published a list of the 10 best songs they use to test loudpeakers, with tracks for soundstage, attack and decay, ryhthm etc. I didn't know all of them and it's been interesting listening to them. They've created Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz playlists with the songs too.

I personally play metal or hard rock to test my speakers. Also, listening to a song/tune over and over is much more revealing than just listening to something new. When I listen to something I've already listened multiple times, I can try to hear different layers/instruments, something I missed to pay attention to the last time.
