Using w/ Jazz Radio

Postby eea123 » 31 Jul 2019, 12:47

Hi,

I'm considering upgrading to Jazz Radio's premium service and using it with Rune Audio. Anyone else using that setup? I'm using a PI 2B w/ 0.4 build. Everything has been very solid for me, mainly playing FLAC files from my local NAS but also some streaming (Jazzy French - hate the blaring commercials). My primary listening is an older Polk XM tuner, but XM's Jazz channel is so varied. Granted it is a good exposure to all types of Jazz, but when I want to listen to late 50s West Coast or Cool Jazz, XM is broadcasting Techno Electric Miller-time or something :).

Thanks,
Ed A

Received this back from their tech support last night:

We do not have official support for Rune Audio software. However Premium subscribers can download .pls files to listen to JazzRadio using Winamp, iTunes, VLC, RealPlayer, or any other music player that supports this file type. Premium subscribers also have access to direct URL links for those audio players that support it.

You can subscribe a Free trial from our mobile app to test if Rune Audio supports these features.

Giving it a try today.
