Using Embedded Album Art

Postby CityCentreFox » 02 Feb 2019, 02:59

Hello All

A quick question.

Is there a way for rune audio to use the album artwork inbedded in the metadata rather than using Last.fm tags.

I ask this because I have added album art to all my mp3's & FLACS and the album art is sometimes not only wrong but when correct is is awful.

Regards

CCF

P.S. Great software by the way....Happy I stuck with it!
Kind Regards

Hi CCF,

RuneAudio (up to 0.4b) searches for cover art in this order:
1. try to find embedded cover art
2. try to find local cover art (folder.jpg / cover.jpg / folder.png / cover.png)
3.0 try to find cover art on Last.FM (Album)
3.1 try to find cover art on Last.FM (Artist)
4. serve DEFAULT rune-cover image

I have no idea if this changed with 0.5 (janui), but i don't think so.

What version do you use? See debug info.

Good Afternoon Frank

Thank you for your reply.

At the moment my album art is named AlbumArt.jpg/.png etc...

I take it that this is the wrong filename...
