update to MPD 0.18.16

Hi Guys,

In anticipation for the beta version release, I wonder if there is a possibility to upgrade MPD to the latest rev on the rune 0.3-alpha version?
It believes 0.18.16 has fixed the dsdiff files play back. Appreciate some guidances where's possible?

Hi Chanh,
of course you can do it, downloading the updated package from our RuneOS repo on GitHub and installing it. Follow these commands:

wget https://github.com/RuneAudio/RuneOS/raw/master/01_raspberrypi/packages/mpd-rune/mpd-rune-0.18.16-1-armv6h.pkg.tar.xz

systemctl stop mpd

pacman -U mpd-rune-0.18.16-1-armv6h.pkg.tar.xz

systemctl start mpd

I have follow the instruction but I have the error message!

Whoops I made a mistake in the download url, the right one is:

You just downloaded it under a new name and you are trying to install the same previous one.

Sorry for my ignorance, after I follow the instruction and update the MPD, and now I just have the connecting icon and loose the webui!

I, too, have the same issue. WebUI is no longer working, simply saying "Connecting".

Did you get errors/warnings after the installation? Something related with ffmpeg plugin?
Is MPD running when the UI is unresponsive?

I get warning after installation.

warning: /etc/mpd.conf installed as /etc/mpd.conf.pacnew
Synchronising file system....
[root@runeaudio ~]# systemctl start mpd
Warning: Unit file of mpd.service changed on disk, 'systemctl daemon-reload' recommended.

WebUI is freeze with 'CONNECTING' arrows circulating endlessly.
