for anyone else out there that didn't know this.. on the new samsng OS the menu button has moved over to the right.. it's now a 'hold the back button down' (rather than just tapping it) and the menu will appear ...

Hi

mrcrowley

Is it normal that from Debug Data I have "HW platform: RaspberryPi2 (08)" ???
It should be a Raspberry Pi 3 !!

Yes it is normal, because at the moment we have no 64Bit kernel for the RP3 available.

Note: The current installation uses the 32-bit Raspberry Pi 2 armv7h root filesystem. This will be changing eventually to use our AArch64 repository to take full advantage of the ARMv8 Cortex-A53 cores. If you want an AArch64 system, consider the ODROID-C2.

After a try with Rune Audio Remote Control, I would say that it could be a good idea to use the integreated Bluetooth feature of Raspberry 3 to control it directly with RARC.

Hi mrcrowley,

Is Rune project dead ?

No, it absolutely isn't.

Ok. And what about Bluetooth control ??

This isn't something that is on top of our roadmap.
The next image will have the ability for an automatic wifi access point (AP).

What is the benefit for bluetooth over wifi?
