The problem with CUE containing Cyrillic

Postby karejo89 » 28 Jan 2017, 13:07

Hello, please help. When I play the CUE-files containing English characters in the playlist are added all the tracks correctly. But when I try to play CUE-files containing Cyrillic nothing happens. I did the update through "gitpol" but it did not help. Please correct the ability to play CUE-files with the Cyrillic alphabet as you can. Because I have a large music library and do not want to divide it into separate files with CUE-Splitter. Thank you very much for the project)

Interesting point, I have problems also with some cue sheets, but we should investigate. Are the cue sheets encoded in UTF-8 or other text-encoding system ? For the moment I miss time to investigate which cue sheets from mine generate a problem.

Hi,

please try to convert your cue sheet to UTF-8 and report.

- use Notepad++ to open the file
- change encoding (Encoding -> Convert to UTF-8)
- save the file (with BOOM)
