Really, you never heard it before? It is a big issue in other platforms.

So, i can see 2 USB sticks(different models) at "Sources" area, but when i go to "Library" - > USB.....I see only the first one which have been mounted.

All these at Pi2. I will ask for this issue one friend of mine with Rasp Pi B+...

sorry for my English.

Right now I have nothing at rasp Pi2 and the UI show me the USB that i plugged in yesterday...

Hi anadigi,

Hi hondagx35,
I have updated the new pi2 image. However, I can't update the most recent updates anymore. the regular image with no problem though. :(

This is because the RP2 image is ahead from git.
So at the moment it is not possible to update via git.
But this is not a problem at all, because the RP2 image is the more recent version.
with the official 0.4 release there also will be a official RP2 image.

Hi emilot,

i bet you did the following:
- shutdown your pi with usb stick mounted
- remove the usb stick
- restart your pi

At the current stage this is not possible.
This behavior will be improved / changed in the future.

So what can you do:
- mount your stick a second time and remove it the "correct" way
- delete the associated folder under /mnt/MPD/USB/

Hi niconoe,

welcome to the forum and many thanks for the report.

I cannot use hardware volume control with my HifiBerry DAC+.

Today i got a DAC+ in my mail, i'll test this tomorrow.

I also tried a "git pull" to get the last revision of RuneUI, but there are local, uncommited changes that prenvent this to work.

As mentioned above, RP2 image is ahead (more recent) from git.
With the coming official image updates via git will come back.

The UI (playback page) seems to have problem to gracefully switch between airplay and MPD (but sound output is okay). For example, after stopping airplay stream, the UI gets stuck (AJAX spinners instead of song metadata, no progress circle, ...) when I launch MPD music from the library tab. Using Chrome Inspector, I can see that 3 web requests are indefinitely pending. It seems that restarting rune_PL_wrk (from the DEV page) solve the issue.

This is strange, because i thought all issues with airplay are solved.
I have no apple device here, so i'm testing with my android phone and AirAudio.
It would be great to get more info from you and other users.

I am also unable to use the hardware volume with the iqaudio dac+. Thanks for all the work you have put in.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that alsamixer works fine and it shows up as a IQAUDIODAC, no mention of it being a plus.

Hi Da Alchemist.

Can you share with us what you are doing with brutefir and the way to accomplish this?

Thank you

Since I didn't know RuneUI in this build was ahead of GitHub, I did made a force update(downgrade in this case) by renaming /var/www, then cloning the next branch in /var/www... And at first look (I didn't made tons of tests) it seems to work better. So maybe there's a regression there?

I'd be happy to help, so just tell me if you want me to try something... Do you plan a new test build soon ? Also, maybe opening a ticket on github for my issues would be a better way than a forum to keep track of all this!

Hi Frank, I bought the Edimax dongle and it works, but I had to restart a fresh installed image to succesfully scan for networks(I will repeat installation to test it again).
It's not a big problem anyway, but I found a strange behaviour here, after I connected to my wireless network on edimax I swapped back to TP-link dongle, and network still works!

So this is only the network searching on TP-Link that does not work?

[feature request]Would it be possible to make a config file on SD card, so that I can enter my SSID and PASS into the file on my windows computer, and RPi2 would connect to the specified wireless network if it is present and a wifi dongle is inserted? - kind of headless wireless installation[/feature request]
Thanks!

Hi Frank,

Thank you for your time to answer. Yes i did all that you suggest. As i understand Runeaudio mount all disks under one path.

example : /mnt/usb-disk

and create one directory for each one.

It should work, i guess.....

Sure, managing issues through GitHub is highly preferred, but let's wait the final 0.4 release for Rpi and Rpi2 (coming soon) to open issues on the new code.
