i have done several test, to use this power ON/OFF PCB ...

and i have always the same results ..... when i pouch the button just have 2s power and stop like you can see on the beginning of video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCtlrzc8C90

i am wonder, what i am doing wrong !

Hi Stef,

is your "button" a toggle switch or a momentary switch?.

AUDIOPHONICS recommends using a momentary type.
If you have a toggle switch try to firmly press it so it does not toggle.

hi Franck,

is momentary switch , now seems running a little with last image of feb 2017, and code modifyon power on ( still have loading start pictures) with a NO contact, no NC like audiophonics schematics says, but shutdown is only possible with more than 4s press button, no shutdown with shutdown pictures ......a other trouble also is the led of the button is flashing all times, when rune audio is running! but run and stop doing ok except this flashing light button

when power is on :the green PI3 led also flashing, and no more red led active

my latest image has all you need onboard.

 rm /srv/http/command/rune_shutdown
ln -s /srv/http/command/rune_shutdown.audiophonics /srv/http/command/rune_shutdown
systemctl enable sds

It uses the following GPIOs:

"ShutDown : GPIO17=in, Low"
"BootOK : GPIO22=out, High"

Tnx, i tried several methods, and it was so easy with the good way ........ tnx a lot

not specialy, i just try to build project with the last MPD, with youtube link nicely ..........but old version doing enough for the moment ... wife should be glad too !!!

i will waiting for some post around can talk about this problem!

anyway now i am starting the box !!!
