Hello Frank and the RuneAudio-Team,

first I want to say "thanks" for that great project here.

I started a couple of weeks ago with a Raspi 2B and a HifiBerry Digi+ with Rune Audio and had a lot of fun with. Most of the time I'm listening with a headphone. Then I saw this thread, ordered a RB 7" touch display and downloaded your 04.Beta (March 16). As another user some weeks ago reported I have the issue of changes in the stereo perspective (maybe changing left-right channel) during playback. In addition to the slow reacting touchscreen I decided now to change to the new RB 3. But the issue is still there. Running the same stuff (Hardware and RuneAudio) without the display (just removed the flat cable from RB) everything is fine.

Any other users with this issue? Any suggestions?

I want to go forward with this solution, so I will be very thankful for some help here.

Regards from palatina,
Holger

Issue solved after Kernel update. Please see:

Hi to all,

after I use the GitPull button on the left top of my screen there is the time of day. That's very cool. But there is a little problem.
Now here in Germany it's 20.10, but the time on the screen shows 19.10.
In the Menu/Settings/System Status is the time 20.10.
So I think I have to configure the browser, but I don't know how to do this.

And also I don't know how to configure the screensaver. Is it possible that the screen gets blank after a time and with a touch the Runeui is back again.

Sorry for my English :)

Hi Punisher,

welcome to RuneAudio.

Now here in Germany it's 20.10, but the time on the screen shows 19.10.

The javascript time function does not work correctly on the local browser (midori).
We have to find a workaround with next update.

And also I don't know how to configure the screensaver. Is it possible that the screen gets blank after a time and with a touch the Runeui is back again.

Please read this.

Hello,

I'm new to the forum- and new to RPI in general, so please bear-with my ignorance.

Is there an "all in one" setup tutorial that details setting-up the RPI 7" touchscreen- or is it automatically supported with the latest code?

Thanks for your time..

Hi jrmig,

Is there an "all in one" setup tutorial that details setting-up the RPI 7" touchscreen- or is it automatically supported with the latest code?

The latest image for the RP2/3 works out of the box (with minor limitations).

Hi,

I have rPI3 and a 3.5" LCD.
I'm quite happy with my rPI3+runeaudio configuration but get trouble with my touch screen.
I thought to have understood that the image would work for this screen as well (even if less optimized/beautiful than with the 7").
So I tried to plug my screen on the rPI I used before without the screen.
But the screen stays blank (I'm still able to use RuneUI from an external browser, so most things still work fine).
Was I wrong about the 3.5" compatibility?
Is there sth obvious I would not have done?

Kind regards

Hi indy49,

does your LCD work in general?
Do you see boot messages?

What is the exact brand and type?

When enabled on the settings page Rune will start a local browser on the first display it finds.
