Hi all,

Searching the Arch Linux ARM site, the package "raspberrypi-firmware-bootloader" doesn't exist, which may be why I'm getting my error.

Yes, because the packages in ArchLinux have changed a few days ago.
raspberrypi-firmware-bootloader is now raspberrypi-bootloader
raspberrypi-firmware-bootloader-x is now raspberrypi-bootloader-x
raspberrypi-firmware-tools is now raspberrypi-firmware

so please use:

Code: Select all
pacman -Sy --force raspberrypi-firmware raspberrypi-bootloader linux-raspberrypi
sync

As everyone suggested, the update worked great (once I found the right packages). No more channel swaps, and no more popping. Thanks!
