There is no metadata editing option in the menus. Is this because I do not display any cover art?

Try clear browser cache.

RuneUIe Metadata Tag Editor addon must be installed to show Tags menu. (10+ minutes)

Thanks rern,

The icons look to be browser dependent. They are missing in both my Android and Pale Moon browser, but work in Firefox 68. Uninstalling UIe restores the icons.

I tried the Tag Editor in 0.5 and it works fine. I am having so many problems with 0.4b now that I have reverted to using an old backup.

Is there any way to update MPD in 0.5 the same way as the 0.4b addon did? The addon's changes to ffmpeg fixed the m3u8 streaming, which is the only reason I am still using 0.4b.

"Star" Image Issue

"Star" Image Issue

It's turned out to be serious and permanent, according to Last.fm API Anouncement.

Coverarts and images in Bio which use Last.fm as online source won't work anymore. I'm looking into getting them from somewhere else.

I second this question. My only reason to stay with 0.4b is the support of an actual mpd version resolving an issue in MPEG2-TS webradios containing MPEG1 Audio Layer 2 (mp2) streams.

I've heard that janui and gearhead have been busy preparing next update/version which will have MPD installed as a standard package. Upgrading MPD would be straightforward by then.

The "star" image issue was resolved by switching to other sources. An update will be released soon.

Update 20190529

- Fix "star" images (online fetched)
    - Playback coverarts - switch source to coverartarchive.org
    - Bio artists - switch source to fanart.tv
- Fix missing coverarts in album view

By the way, there's a delay issue with default RuneUI going on. RuneUIe users, please confirm that there's no such thing on your RuneUIe installed system, before and after this update.

Party over

Tried another ....no wifi, this command returned nothing

redis-cli get wlans | tr -d '\\"' | sed 's/,/\n/g' | grep ESSID

root@classicrunehavana(rw):~# redis-cli get wlans | tr -d '\\"' | sed 's/,/\n/g' | grep ESSID
root@classicrunehavana(rw):~#
root@classicrunehavana(rw):~# redis-cli get stored_profiles | tr -d '\\"[]' | sed 's/,/\n/g'
test
XXXXX<-----my saved network shows up...the one that worked before the reboot

It always turns my wifi off and can not be turned back on
Image

Digging deeper.....rfkill list showed wlan0 was being soft blacked, I used rfkill unblock 0 to unblock it....after that wifi was back on BUT when I try to save the connection it will not save

Summary

Problem #1 - soft blocking wlan0

Problem #2 - not allowing new wifi connections to be saved
