On the topic of CUE-sheets, let me take the opportunity to shamelessly pitch this idea again:

The swipe should be OK now. Please report after update.

Swipe works perfectly now; Thanks very much, @rern!

The only thing not working for me now is the index bar in the library.

For the .cue problem. I just created a new .cue file with same information in UTF-8 format and deleted the old one.
Then it loaded the tracks just fine.

Hi rern,

I often leave the playlist displayed, rather than the playback page, so have noticed a bug. The cursor sometimes sticks on a list entry and just keeps counting up the time instead of moving on to the next tracks in the list. Playback of listed tracks carries on normally. Any action which reloads the page restores normal working. I have not found any way to reproduce this yet - it seems random.

Edit: I normally use the Android app, so this might not affect other browsers.

There also seems to be a problem with updating sources. After making a change and clicking on update mpd library, "Updating Library" shows indefinitely. If I close the page and try again, it takes seconds.

Hi @rern,

Many thanks for all your work on the UI Enhancements; they are working very well now for me. I just have a few questions about some possible tweaks:

1. The Power Menu has not included an option to Turn Off Display for quite some time. I was wondering if that could be added as an option again? If not, do you know what I would need to edit to add it, or would it screw up something?

2. I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but where exactly does the cover art come from: a tag in MPD, Last.fm, and/or an image such as cover.jpg in the same folder as the music?

3. I'm curious why the index bar in the library no longer works on my system. Older UI Enhancement versions work both on a local screen and on a remote PC screen.

Thanks again,
Rod

1. It will be back in next update.

2. For RuneUIe:
- Search local files for cover.png, cover.jpg, folder.png, folder.jpg, front.png, front.jpg, Cover.png, Coverjpg, Folder.png, Folder.jpg, Front.png, Front.jpg in directory of current song.
- If none, search in ID3 metadata for embedded one.
- If none, search last.fm. Get artist image if the cover art was not available.
- If none, use default runeaudio.

Tips - How to override embedded cover art
- Local cover art file is easy and fast. Best for 1 album per 1 directory.
- ID3 embedded cover art is for songs from various albums in 1 single directory. It takes storage space in each song even if they are the same.
- Now RuneUIe displays large cover art. You might find resolution of an embedded one was too low, just grab a hi-res file and put it in the directory. It will override the embedded ones and still leave them intact. No need to edit ID3 metadata.
- Normal size is 230 x 230 pixel. Try the largest one your devices can handle. 1000 x 1000 should still be fine.

3. It works fine on my PC, Android and iOS.
Try:
- Clear browser cache
- Reboot
- Switch to other browsers
- Flash new SD

Did you change this?
On 0.4b it first searches for embedded covers.

Yes, I did. Cover art files get 1st priority.

Rern

Could this be something you might consider for a future UI Enhancement update:

minimserver-supplied-radio-playlist-artwork-t6449.html#p25537

I posted it a while ago but got no further response so maybe it's only of interest to me ?

Thanks
