runeaudio connect...

Postby andre_chang » 20 Feb 2017, 17:32

Hello runeaudio team:

When I install runeaudio img..
I use iPhone Safari browser runeaduio.local can properly control the rune system, very good!
Use PC browser http://runeaudio/ can also be normal control!

But..
"Http://runeaduio" and "http://runeaudio.local" are not connected to the rune system when I use the Samsung note4 browser.

This is very strange.

You can only use the IP address connection. You can't use the rune hostname...

I tried to install the Ping app tools on note4 and iPhone found that iPhone is Ping runeaudio can get IP address, to connect.. PC is also.. but note can not.. can only use IP connection

My environment: PI3 + RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img

I would like to ask how to do.. thank you Rune team

Hi Andre,

This is normal, Android does not support the mDNS/Zeroconf/Bonjour protocol. You have two solutions: use the IP address of the Raspberry PI or use the Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .runeaudio

Hi,

This is normal, Android does not support the mDNS/Zeroconf/Bonjour protocol.

I have no problems with it on all my Android devices!

What I wanted to say is that Android does not natively support the mDNS protocol, you can't use runeaudio.local in Firefox or Chrome and I don't know if a module exists to add this functionality.
