OK, thanks Janui, it's the Pi2 image that interest me.
Did you upgrade Frank's lirc installation?
If yes, is it possible to roll back.

I'm intent to give a try and keep you informed.

Hi s.k.,
I am on the road at the moment, it will be the weekend before I can check properly.

Probably, all packages were upgraded to their current versions around April 2018. On this date there had been new releases of lirc since Frank released 0.4b.

No, all pacman history has been deleted in 0.5b.
Personally I would be more interested in getting the installed (or the latest) version working instead of going backwards.

Me also I prefer having the current version working.

But I'm quite unfamiliar with coding in general - linux in particular.

So, I shall give a try and I'llpost my findings here.
If something doesn't works, I will ask for your help.

@ Janui
It seems that newer version of Lirc doesn’t work as the previus.

If I run “lircd” I get this error:

Code: Select all
Driver `devinput' not found or not loadable (wrong or missing -U/--plugindir?)

After searching the net I found that "The lirc package does no longer ship the devinput driver".
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/58238

Any idea how to bypass this ?

I've setup a new Installation - almost everthing works well. Thanks for your work!

However, I connect my Amp by using the 3.5mm jack - unfortunaletly the Output is very low, even on 100%. Anything I can do to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi humschti,

you have to get access to the console and check the alsamixer settings.

Code: Select all
alsamixer

Select your DAC (F6) and then check each setting available.

Frank

- Get access to the console:
Use SSH from your PC
If you are not familiar with SSH read this for Windows or this for Linux/MacOS
The default login for RuneAudio is "root" with the password "rune" (without quotes).

@humschti, you can also get there via the UI..... use IP:8080 and that should bring up the alsamixer UI in the browser.

Does this also work with 0.5-beta (janui)?
If so, great and the easier way.

Hi Guys,

how can I enable WOL on the 0.5 version Arch Linux eth0 adapter or has anyone ever tried it?
Not that a Raspberrypi needs to be shut down. Just curious.
