Hi Jempie,

must I reset the Raspberry?

Yes, you have to reboot to get the settings recognized.

Hi Jempie,

what do you mean with "reset hardware"?

Make the changes, save and reboot.

Hi Dimon B,
The Sabre DAC in the pioneer A50DA need to be fed with a 24bit data stream. You can test a solution to this by logging in via SSH and editing mpd.conf with the command:
Code: Select all
nano /etc/mpd.conf
You need to add the line 'format "*:24:*"' in the audio_output section, it should then look like this:
Code: Select all
audio_output {
    name        "PIONEER A-70DA A-50DA USB AUDIO"
    type        "alsa"
    device      "hw:0,0"
    format      "*:24:*"
    dsd_native  "yes"
    dsd_native_type     "2"
    auto_resample   "no"
    auto_format     "no"
    enabled     "yes"
}
You will need to restart MPD from the /dev menu to activate the configuration file. After a reboot the mpd.conf will be regenerated and return to its original settings.
See this thread for a solution which is persistent: post23478.html?hilit=sabre%2024%20janui#p23474
If you need more help, please post your debug.

Great Job,

could you please include support for IQaudIO DigiAmp+? Now I can't select it as an output. Or maybe you could suggest me a solution?

Thanks in advance

Hi max.poluektov,
I am reasonably sure that the V0.4 version of Rune supports this dac card. Make sure that you are using the correct version, see here: runeaudio-0-4-beta-for-raspberry-pi2-3-t4434.html#p19960. You will need to add
Code: Select all
dtoverlay=iqaudio-dacplus,unmute_amp
to your /boot/config.txt. At the moment Rune is not capable of 'unmuting' the dac without this line.
An alternative version of Rune is here: runeaudio-0-3-beta-for-raspberry-pi-t502-520.html#p23625
If the 0.4 version needs upgrading see here: post23634.html#p23634

Hello, janui. Thanks for the quick response. I have a problem with DSD, just as in this thread raspberry-pi-3-mpd-0-19-13-dsd-t3539.html . Probably support pioneer a50da limited to Microsoft Windows. Is there a solution to this problem or is it better to refuse to play files of that type on the Raspberry Pi 3 ?
