Hi donimo,

Every 20 - 25 seconds the standard screen flicks to the 'artist info' screen for approximately 0.5 seconds, then back.

This should not happen.
On my test system RP3 with original 7" touch it works like it should.
It switches to the screen saver after the configured time.
It stays there and only switches back when i tap on the screen.

It also works with a HDMI monitor and mouse attached.

The same thing happens on my local browser running chrome on a PC, which is definitely not a touchscreen!

I will try to reproduce this as soon as possible.

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and in fact new to raspberry pi and Linux as well.
I have a question because after successfully installing RuneAudio on my Pi 2 with IQAudio card (RuneAudio_rpi_0.3-beta_20141029_2GB.img) ,
RuneAudio looks very nice and professional and the sound is great so I would like to use it.

Now I wanted to include the raspberry LCD touchscreen and WiFi access. Therefore I tried to flash my SD card with RuneAudio 0.4-beta for Raspberry Pi2/3 (2016). Unfortunately the system does not boot anymore: Just a colorful splash screen on the LCD and a green flashng LED on the board.

Anybody suggestions what I am doing wrong?

Have you read the Raspberry Pi troubleshooting section in the docs? The most likely cause is a poor power supply. It's best to provide at least 2A, expecially if you are using external peripherals like DACs and LCD displays.

Hi Frank,
I am trying to download the latest beta image from the link above but clicking on "download anyway" does nothing. Any ideas please?
regards, Trevor.

Would it be possible to include the 'Display Off' option in the shutdown menu on a remote connection? I have my Rune with the 7" display and while I will shut down the display from the unit itself it occasionally gets either touched or used from the screen and then they forget to turn off the display. I would love to be able to turn the display off from my phone rather than getting up to manually do it.

Thanks

Hi wridley,

Would it be possible to include the 'Display Off' option in the shutdown menu on a remote connection?

Find this lines of code and remove the if statement.

Code: Select all
            <?php if (is_localhost()): ?>
               &nbsp;
               <button id="syscmd-display_off" name="syscmd" value="display_off" class="btn btn-primary btn-lg btn-block" data-dismiss="modal"><i class="fa fa-display sx"></i> Display off</button>
            <?php endif ?>

Code: Select all
               &nbsp;
               <button id="syscmd-display_off" name="syscmd" value="display_off" class="btn btn-primary btn-lg btn-block" data-dismiss="modal"><i class="fa fa-display sx"></i> Display off</button>
