I believe I have everything configured as suggested but my Digi+ Pro is not playing music [EDIT: I do not get a digital lock from the Digi+ Pro to my Schiit Bifrost 4490 DAC on Coax] (flashing red LED on RPi3 Board). Any suggestions on what I am missing would be appreciated. Please let me know if you need any other info. Thanks!

Info:

1) Digi + Pro works fine in Moode Audio
2) Using RPi3
3) Runeaudio version - release version: 0.4 (build: beta-20160313)

Hi jmarcus,

from the Hifiberry FAQ:
Configure device tree overlay file

You don’t have to edit /etc/modules anymore, but need to load the correct device tree file. To do this, you must edit /boot/config.txt and add the following line
DAC for Raspberry Pi 1/DAC+ Light/DAC Zero/MiniAmp
    dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac
DAC+ standard/pro
    dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus
Digi/Digi+ all models
    dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi
Amp+
    dtoverlay=hifiberry-amp

Thanks for the prompt reply Frank. Actually the way I had it configured was correct. My issue was a weird HDD problem. It appeared to finish a Library Update and I could browse the drive but no streaming. After un-attaching and re-attaching the HDD after power recycle everything worked. Go figure!

Hi all,

Just popped a brand new rune build into my 2b/digi+ pro box. The build works fine through the on board audio and a Dragonfly USB DAC, but the through the digi+ pro, nada. Same on a 3.

Has this not been fixed yet?

cheers

Yes, it has been fixed. Which build are you using? Posting a little more information or your debug would really help.

Before we get into uploading and analysing debug text, let's make sure I have the right build.

Build is RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB which was the most recent build on this page: http://www.runeaudio.com/download/#raspberry-pi-3

I have a 2B 1.1, a 3B 1.2 and the Digi pro.

Ideally, I'd like to use the 3b and the digi+ pro and once the library's built, make a copy for use in the 2b.

Which build should I be using?

cheers

Hi foxwelljsly,
Try this build: runeaudio-0-5-beta-for-all-raspberry-pi-models-t6532.html#p25819
We have now had more than 5,000 downloads and no reported problems relating to any of the HiFiBerry products.
