Rune not able to mount to NAS w/OMV (solved)

Postby kcgolfer » 17 Jun 2017, 23:27

Hope someone can help me... or I might climb out on that ledge! I have RPI 3 running OpenMediaVault with a 500GB USB HDD. I can and do have my desktop running Win 10 connected to it and can store my music/photos/etc. to the NAS without problems. I can play music on my desktop from the RPI NAS storage. So this appears to work.
Now I'm installing another RPI 3 in the living room w/RuneAudio and it will be used to play my music library through the stereo system. All RPI's and desktop are on Ethernet, not WiFi. This RPI has Runeaudio on it. I have tried every possible combination of "Remote Directory" and "User Name" and can not get the Hard Drive on the NAS to mount on the living room unit.
I have attached a picture of the Desktop Connection to the NAS. I have also attached a picture of the mounting setup screen on Rune. At this point I'll try about anything. Thanks very much in advance.

Try to add
Code: Select all
vers=2.0
to "Advanced options" of the NAS moutning dialog.

See here or here. Had the same problem, helped me out. Credits go of course to Frank.
