Raspberry Pi 3B with original 7" touchscreen

Postby ritsjie1971 » 31 Jan 2017, 13:22

Hi all!
I'm Richard, and I'm from the Netherlands.

I'm very new to Raspberry pi and Runeaudio. Just got my Raspberry Pi 3B and the PiFi Digi Dac+ and the Raspberry 7" touchscreen to play with Runeaudio, Like it a lot!

Perhaps I do something wrong, but when I (accidentely) tap a few times on the touchscreen the screen becomes white and I can't control it anymore. Via the RuneAudio app on my phone I can reboot the system. But the touchscreen does not react anymore. Music plays on.

What is causing this?

Thanx!

Richard.

Midori, the browser which runs the Rune web interface sees it as a double click, and tries to open a new web page.

A workaround for this is, courtesy of user sandbox:

Hi Frank, Hi Justin,
I've found out a nice solution to fix this problem:
Edit the /root/.config/midori/config File and change the tabhome default behaviour :
Code: Select all
//...
tabhome=http://localhost
//...

Hmmm... I can't get it to work... :? As a newby I've a lot to learn :D

I'm not sure, but I guess I've messed up this config file. This is what's in it now:

[settings]
default-encoding==UTF-8
enforce-96-dpi=true
enable-developer-extras=true
enable-site-specific-quirks=true
enable-javascript=true
default-charset=ISO-8859-1
last-window-width=800
last-window-height=480
last-panel-position=523
last-panel-page=5
location-entry-search=
toolbar-items=Back,Forward,ReloadStop,Location,Search,
find-while-typing=true
zoom-level=0.7
middle-click-opens-selection=false
homepage=http://localhost
tabhome=http://localhost:dial
download-folder=/home/army
http-proxy=127.0.0.1:8118
maximum-cache-size=50
maximum-history-age=0
load-on-startup=MIDORI_STARTUP_HOMEPAGE
proxy-type=MIDORI_PROXY_NONE
user-agent=Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux) AppleWebKit/538.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.133 Safari/538.15 Midori/0.5
user-stylesheet-uri=file:///root/.local/share/midori/styles/local-styles.css

[extensions]
libaddons.so=true

Who can help me to fix it? It still shows the white screen while tapping the touchscreen.
Thanx!

You have to reboot to get the changes to be active.

Hi Frank,

I'm not sure where the :dial comes from. I did copy - paste the whole thing which was in the config file as a backup.
Perhaps it's caused because I'm using FileZilla to communicate with the Raspberry?

I did reboot, but this didn't help.
