Raspberry on a boat ?

Postby scottdownsouth » 23 Apr 2019, 17:15

I'm thinking about adding a raspberry pi with a HiFiBerry to my boat. I have a regular stereo and amps but I'm tired of losing fm signal and phone service is spotty at best. I'm thinking the raspberry with rune and a hard drive would let me play my music without interruption ?
I'm new to this so I'd thought I'd ask if it was crazy or not.

Will work fine - use the Access Point to control it.
Home: Custom cased Rpi3 running RuneAudio 0.41Tb storage with 2 line LCD display!
HifiBerry+ DAC.
Denon RCDM350DAB Hifi.

Kitchen: Pi Zero W with RuneAudio 0.5.
pHAT DAC and 64Gb Sandisk USB Stick + adaptor.
Sony HiFi.
