Hi Frank,

yes, something in that order was my idea also. I check the script of rern and found out that flask should be installed during the mpd upgrade, see line 42 -> 46

To me, this looks more like a 'Addons Menu' issue. May be this should be part of that thread. I'm currently not at home but will report my findings tomorrow.

This might be the case. During the installation pip is not found and therefore flask is not installed. I will take this further in the 'Addons menu' thread.

Thanks to all . That explains why I am experiencing this as I have the mpd upgrade/addons menu running

I've just gone totally crazy and using my tiny amount of knowledge have fixed this myself...

Looking at https://github.com/rern/RuneAudio/blob/ ... install.sh

I just ran the following commands via ssh: (is that the right phrase?)

Code: Select all

pacman -S python2-pip
ln -sf /usr/bin/pip{2,}
pip install flask

and got a whole load of progress bars and now flask is installed and I can see the alsamixer page. Boom!

--noconfirm was missing from pacman -S python2-pip in MPD Upgrade.
It was fixed.
