Help! Newbie wants to use Rune for playback need ripper

Postby sweiss » 22 Mar 2018, 15:50

Hello all: this is my first post here.
I have a Raspberry Pi 3 B and a Digi+ Pro board. I want to use Rune to playback FLAC files. I'd like to have a single system where I plug in an external SDD to store the music as FLAC files and plug in a CD player/burner to rip my CD collection.

What does Rune expect to use for a library? Is it something called an MPD library? Is an MPD library what Rune uses?

I'd like to have a single system to use. Ripping the CDs doesn't have to be automatic, I don't mind running a program to rip a CD to add it to the Rune library - once I rip all my CDs that won't happen that often.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance
