Sluggish Response without DAC shield

Postby WHAMMO! » 22 Jun 2017, 00:30

So, can I assume that the interface and Pi3 will be much more responsive once I get a DAC shield to handle the audio conversion?

Hi WHAMMO!,

What is sluggish? More info would be helpful.

On a Pi3 the interface should be very responsive.
If it isn't you have other problems like:
- bad quality sd card
- bad network connection (for example using internal wifi on a Pi3)

The SD card is a SanDisk Class 10, the Wifi signal is strong with the router about 10 feet away. Iss there something wrong with using the built-in WiFi on the Pi3?

Thanks
