Possible to integrate pianobar into a RuneAudio-System?

Please can I ask you something. It it possible to install pianobar via ssh on a RuneAudio-System, so that I can also use Pandora? I am aware of the fact that I only can control pianobar afterwards via the terminal and not via the graphical interface. But is it possible in general.

if I am not mistaked that is based on Raspbian so not likely as RuneAudio is based on Arch

I have already tried to install pianobar via

pacman -s pianobar

from the repositories. An installation happened. But if I want to start it with pianobar I get an error:

 [root@runeaudio ~]# pianobar
pianobar: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.57: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I installed pianobar as well and ran into the same issue.
I believe that the error you received is related to ffmpeg. (libavcodec.so being a part of ffmpeg)
Unfortunately ffmpeg is blocked from installation, and if I have learned 1 thing about arch, it is that you do not ignore warnings

The message I received when trying to install ffmpeg via pacman was

Code: Select all

ffmpeg is in IgnorePkg/IgnoreGroup.  Install anyway? [Y/n]

i chose no

A solution would be greatly appreciated

Installed vlc which brought in ffmpeg2.8 (and a bunch of other stuff), still no luck w/ pianobar
