Pi-1 - 'lost' internet address?

Postby Aswell » 28 Jun 2017, 08:07

I mean lost NETWORK address!!!

I have had rune running on a pi-1 for some time but made some changes to the network and wifi and now seem to have 'lost' the internet address. If I connect to a local monitor and log in and run IFCONFIG I get the normal three blocks of information but none contain the internet address of the pi so I cannot access it remotely.

Where in the system can I re-set my internet address to say 192.168.1.xxx?

Thanks.

Hi Brian,

is it with the stock image, or did you update to the nightly builds?

No, I have not updated it for some time, can I do it from the pi through my network connection? If so, how?

Cheers, Brian

Hi,

can I do it from the pi through my network connection? If so, how?

http://www.runeaudio.com/documentation/troubleshooting/updating/

... so I cannot access it remotely.

You need a functioning internet connection, so the above update will not in your case.

I think the settings are stored in redis and in "/etc/netctl/"
