MPD Watchdog

Postby ianhaynes » 07 Nov 2017, 17:22

Recently I've had several instances per day where radio stations drop out and either don't restart at all or the next station in the queue starts. I've tried various versions of Rune that I have and they all seem to have the same problem. There is no problem with tracks played from a NAS.

I wondered if it was an internet connectivity issue, which it may be, but we have no problem with streamed TV.

Is the MPD Watchdog run by default or do we need to add a service to do this? (As mentioned in older posts).

Having tried another player it appears to be either the radio stations in question (BBC) or an internet connectivity issue, and nothing to do with Rune.
