mount local files on extended partition

Postby Cully » 18 Jan 2017, 00:38

I have extended the partition to 32Gb . have created folder /home/music and copied music files/folders to /home/music.
How do I now add /home/music as a source or network mount so I can browse the folders.
Or ideally add /home/music as a bookmark on the library screen?

Hi Cully,

On Rune your library has to be in /mnt/MPD/.
You can / should use the provided folder /mnt/MPD/LocalStorage.

Thanks Support!

I installed Rune on a Raspberry Pi 3 with a Digi+ SPDIF interface a few days ago.
I could not find out where to store music files on the local SD card, and didn't want
to permanently plug in a USB flash drive.

This answer should be in the FAQ, if not the WIKI!

Now I'm playing beautifully from the RP -> SPDIF -> Topping32ex amp.

Thanks,

Noob here, trying desperately to access music on the 2nd partition of my 128g sd card.
The advice is to mount the partition to /mnt/MPD/LocalStorage.

Is this possible without a computer running linux? If you only have a Windows PC, would it ever be possible to mount a partition in this way?

You would ssh into your Pi and create the mount....google "man mount" for the command and parameters
