Micro SDHC flashing problem - Odroid image corrupt? (solved)

Postby michbest » 30 Aug 2016, 08:11

Hi All,

I have problem to properly flash my Micro SDHC card (i've tried with two different cards) with Odroid image. I have no problem with flashing these cards with Raspberry Pi2 image. But when i do the same steps with Odroid C1 image i have no access to SD Card and of course runeaudio is not booting in my Odroid. Maybe Odroid image in download section is corrupt?

Hi michbest,

But when i do the same steps with Odroid C1 image

What steps?

On Windows i would use Win32DiskImager
Unzip the downloaded file first, so you get RuneAudio_odroid-c1_0.3-dev_20150824_2GB.img.

Maybe Odroid image in download section is corrupt?

No, i did a quick test and it is OK.
You have used this one?

Steps from:
http://www.runeaudio.com/documentation/ ... diskwriter

Im using WIN32DISKWRITER. I did it on two computers (Windows 10 and Windows 7).

Image file from place You linked:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/runeau ... D%20C1(%2B)/RuneAudio_odroid-c1_0.3-dev_20150824_2GB.img.gz/download

Image for Raspberry Pi 2 is ok. Odroid still no access to SD card from Windows after flashing :(

I have just flashed these Cards with:
"RuneAudio_ODROIDC2_0.4-beta_20160518_2GB.img"
with the same result. No access from Windows to SD Card. (file format unknown).
After that i flashed it again with Raspberry Pi 2 image. No problem with accessing Card. File structure is visible etc. Maybe some hidden files from Runesudi for Raspberry Pi 2 are still present and are making this issue when i flash SD Card with image for Odroid C1? Any ideas? Please!

Hi michbest,

I have just flashed these Cards with:
"RuneAudio_ODROIDC2_0.4-beta_20160518_2GB.img"

This image will not work on your C1!

I took my RP2 sd card and flashed the ODROID-C1 image on it, all works as expected.

Again the question:
You have unzipped the file with 7zip before writing it?

aybe it just problem with compatibility Odroid image/My SDHD cards. I will buy non HC card today and see if that helps :/
