Maximum samplerate

Hi all,

I need some advice. My brother is using a RPI2 with DIgi+ board connected to an Arcam receiver using a coaxial S/PDIF cable. This work fine with FLAC files up to 24/96.

However, he has some files in his collection with bitdepth/samplerate of 24/176.4 and 24/192. These files do play on rune but produce no sound due to the limitations of the Arcam's DAC.

Is there a way to downsample to max 24/96 (with 24/192 files) or 24/88.2 (with 24/176.4 files) while playing somewhere in the RuneAudio UI? Making changes in mpd.conf are reverted automatically by RA.

However, I have a couple of questions:

in the audio_output settings for the Digi+. I am just wondering if mpd uses the "samplerate_converter" setting and by what value? I actually would like the "Best Sinc Interpolator" (or integer "0") value to be used if possible.
2. Would it be possible not to upsample to 96000 if the file is 44.1 or 88.2 kbps sample rate?
3. Would it be possible to downsample a 176.4 kbps file to 88.2?

Rune uses the default "Fastest Sinc Interpolator".
You can change this with:

redis-cli hset mpdconf samplerate_converter 0

I never checked this, because all my DACs can play up to 192 (384).
