Logon authentication for gui?

Postby robmorin » 09 Mar 2017, 18:28

Hello all first post so please be gentle... :)

Is it possible to have a login auth box for user and password, like one would use with apache htpasswd, or since rune runs nginx can i use auth before getting to main page?

Thanks

Thanks, I went out this morning and bought a new PI3 Model B as my PI1 could not run new RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20170229_2GB version....

So i see the nice new features, very slick indeed!
However, I have no audio? :(

I am using the analog audio jack, and in settings & MPD its configured like in the attachments..

ANy Ideas?

The first slider does not move and the second when moved does nothing....

SO I slapped in a very cheap usb dac thing...

It a Syba USB Sound Card with Mini Digital Optical (SPDIF) Output Sound Cards SD-AUD20101

It's louder now, more acceptable., there are a couple more choices on the alsamixer gui and via command line....

Is there any sound card i can use that is not expensive like under $25 US as i am bulding a few of these things to give out to some commercial stores for testing. It will only be for streaming online music, so no matter what card i have the sound is limited by the stream quality and the MP3 files that are being streamed, so in the end to any half decent audiophile, its crappy sound anyways... :)

Thanks...

ALso after choosing usb audio device and hardware volume as hardware NOT software, it sounds even better, however i have no volume control on the now playing page increasing or decreasing the volume knob or even the mute does nothing. Is this normal with those settings?
