I bought the piano 2.1 With the Kali reclocker for the raspberry 3 with Rune audio.
Just enabeled the I2S and the iqaudiodac+ in the config and it works perfectly.
Now I am comparing it with my Teac VRDS10 with Musical Fidelity Digilog dac.
Both heavely upgraded with clock, tubes, capacitors etcetera.
First impression is that they are good competitors.
At the moment I let it play for some time. After a few days there will be more info.

Greetings Mark

Very interesting!
Looking forward to more comparison.
I dare not ask the cost of the other system...

Hi Mark

What amp and speakers are you driving?

Are you using all 4 RCA's?

Hi all,

Just now again listening. Rune audio is so convient to use. Just put some sacd files on the harddisk. 24 bit 96kHz and playing like crazy.
This was not possible with the MF Digilog (max 44.1 kHz).
Great detail. Placing instruments good. Greather stage then with the MFD Dac.
Confusion....????? Can this be as good as for this price?

System is:
Aragon 2004 amplifier.
ConradJohnson PV10 pre.
Xanadu AW11 Reference speakers.
Cables all NordOst.

Greetings Mark

Just looking for a way to adjust the piano dac.
Using the standard line out without a sub I want to change the threshold for the low pass filter.
Back again later.

Listening to Stan Getz With Antonio Carlos Jobin in DSD 352,8 kHz. No Problem.
There is a Saxophone in my livingroom. Beautiful.

I sincerely hope Frank has the 2.1 DAC, so that we can look forward to fully implemented output control (mode, frequency etc) in Rune ;)

Of course the 2.1 should go to hondagx35 , I couldn't hope to rival his knowledge and dedication to Runeaudio

but hot damn! the 2.1 would be a good fit for my FAST project
