img use

Postby hawkesley » 23 Mar 2017, 15:10

I have installed the img for Rpi2B and all is well. However I notice there are other img's available for other Rpi models. I would like to use just one SD rather than multiples, so will my image work with Rpi3 and Rpi zero W?

Hi hawkesley,

so will my image work with Rpi3 and Rpi zero W?

1. Yes 2. No

This is because of the different architecture used.

ARMv6 (BCM2835): Raspberry Pi Model A, A+, B, B+, Zero, Zero W

ARMv7 (BCM2836): Raspberry Pi 2 (based on Model B+)
ARMv8 (BCM2837): Raspberry Pi 3

Thanks for that.
With your image locally on the Rpi is there a way to close down the Rune?. I'm not getting any mouse to work right now.

Hi hawkesley,

RuneAudio is designed as a headless player (remotely controlled by a browser).
The local browser (display) is optimized for a 7" touch display, so the cursor is disabled by default.

The cursor can be enabled in
/root/.xinitrc
