Apparently, right justified input is truncated. Volumio does the same.
If I use the Audacious player on an Ubuntu laptop, conversion works if I select the output device "plughw:CARD=J20,DEV=0 - JLsounds Hi-Rez Audio 2.0, USB Audio". The device "hw:CARD=J20,DEV=0 - JLsounds Hi-Rez Audio 2.0, USB Audio" does not allow conversions.
If MPD has the same choice somewhere, I have no idea where to find it.
