Features wishes:

- No auto-play at start-up
- Art work and ID tag info display in the browse screen
- Bigger art work display option at playback screen
- Play album/folder content as a whole, instead of selecting one track at a time
- Ability to save playlists/ play playlists
- Short key support for player functions, play/pause/volume etc..

Thanks, keep up this great project.

If you shut down the player while playing, MPD recovers the last saved status, so he starts playing from the last saved point.

I tried to keep the browsing as light as possible for performance issues, but I don't exclude to implement it as a optional feature in the future.

Stino wrote:- Bigger art work display option at playback screen

Working on that

Stino wrote:- Play album/folder content as a whole, instead of selecting one track at a time

This is already possible, you can add/addplay a folder instead of a single track

Stino wrote:- Ability to save playlists/ play playlists

Already done fo 0.3-beta

I've coded a simple client (a AutoHotKey script) to control the playback with my keyboard. I own a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard K740, but it should work with every keyboard with multimedia keys on it. If you are interested I could publish that.

Hi ACX, great thanks. I'm starting to get the hang of the player now. It's going to be awesome! I can't wait on the next and future updates. It's quite an eye opener how much better the sound is from a dedicated player compared to Foobar2000, which is what I've been using before.

I figured out the folder playback option, thanks. I'd be very ntrested to give the script a try. I'll PM you on Diy Audio.

One more thing, is it possible to flash the EMMC with the Runeaudio image, could you give me a pointer to a howto?

Thanks,
Stino

I was an happy user of foobar2000 until I first tried Voyage MPD on the same machine. That episode opened a new world in front of me... and now here we are, developing on embedded hardware running Linux :)

About the keyboard script: I think I'm going to publish it here in the forum, as it could be useful for soomeone else too.

We are going to introduce a simple way for users to install RuneAudio on the BBB's eMMC, directly from RuneUI (I think in 0.4-beta). In the meanwhile you can take a look at this article:

But also notice this problem: post1208.html
BBB starts playing after power off even if it was paused/stopped before.
