Dear Sir,
I connect raspberry pi2 to DAC TDA1543 by Using I2S port and use runeaudio to be a player.Almost music file can play and heard all music but for 24bits 96kHz file , runeaudio can play but there are no music out. Could you please advise me for the solution?
Thank you

Hi Nop9dogs,

I connect raspberry pi2 to DAC TDA1543 by Using I2S port

What DAC is it (brand, model)?
What driver do you use?

BTW: TDA1543 is a DAC chip made for 16/44.1. It will work with 24bit but truncates the remaining 8bits.
It should work with higher bitrates, but this is driver dependent.

Hi Frank,
I use hifiberry dac driver and connect with DIY 8xTDA1543 DAC ,it work fine with every file format but for 24bit 96kHz file there are no music out.

Hi Nop9dogs,

DIY 8xTDA1543 DAC

It's one of the next things i'd like to test.

The datasheet states, that it should be possible to use them up to 24bit/192kHz.
The data gets always truncated to 16bit.

One possible reason could be that the signals from the PI are to weak for 8 DACs in parallel.
Are there buffers in your design?
The best way to test this is to measure the signals with an scope.

Please tell us more about your DAC.
Would be great to see the schematic.
