Cannot connect after disabling volume control

Postby 4eyes » 20 Nov 2014, 11:49

I've had to re-install a few times, each time I disable the volume control, then save and apply changes, the ui will not connect. Rebooting results in newly enabled volume control. Any ideas?

Hi 4eyes,
try to change some other options in the MPD section and see if they stick or not. The connecting layer means that MPD is restarting (needed after the changes in the mpd.conf) - if it doesn't disappear it means that something went wrong and the service hasn't come up again. If this happens, go to the /dev/ page and restart the rune_SY_wrk, it should restart all the service chain. If even that fails, something is screwed...

Hi Frank, hi ACX,

Seems to be ok now after the last restart, so I'll leave well alone until the next time. I updated from gitpull before changing the volume setting.

Love the Runeaudio/Rpi combination by the way - it's working great for me just now. Thanks!
