Hi,

Please helppp

We need more info to help:
- used device (RP1, RP2/3, ODROID ......)?
- installed version?
- is "auto rebuild" (Autorebuild MPD library when a USB device is plugged in) enabled?

Hi shai,

are there other files, beside your music, on the hdd?
MPD sometimes is a bit bitchy if you have other files and folders in your music library.

Please check if the hdd gets mounted correctly in /mnt/MPD/USB.
You can do this with ssh or sftp, see below.

Frank

- Get access to the console:
Use SSH from your PC
If you are not familiar with SSH read this for Windows or this for Linux/MacOS
The default login for RuneAudio is "root" with the password "rune" (without quotes).

- Use sftp to access files on Rune Audio:
Get WinSCP from here and install it.
When it opens setup the following:
- Session
File Protocol: SCP
Host name: The IP address of you Raspberry Pi
User name: root
Password: rune

That's it, connect and you can transfer files just by dragging and dropping.

OSX: Try Cyberduck

Hi Frank,

I installed Cyberduck on my Mac.

When I try to transfer a file from Mac to my rpi3's usb stick, it errors out, check out this video link:

Trying to figure out how to make the FLAC folder writeable.

Please help.

Attached is my debug log if needed.

Thanks!

Hi nickfs000,

from your debug.txt you can see that your usb storage is mounted ro (read only).

To change this you have to edit /etc/udevil/udevil.conf
please read this http://www.runeaudio.com/forum/help-with-remote-hard-drive-access-t4309.html#p19084

You can also try the latest test image.
