[SOLVED]can´t connect to my NAS smb/cif mount problem

Hello,

I am new to all of this and I tried to mount my music Hard drive from the NAS but I always getting this message "Retrying with upper case share name mount error(6): No such device or address Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)"

I am a windows user so I´m a little bit confused with linux commands and after reading some threads with some helping answers did not help for me.

I have qnap ts 409 with samba enabled and have acces with all other devices in my home network even I tried openelac where is no problem at all to mount or have a acces to my 4 hard drives on my NAS.

I also tried with a different user account but there is also no way for a solution. Mybe I´m doing something wrong and I can´t see it so I hope you guys can help me out.

Try removing //NAS/ from the remote directory.
