Surely I will be one of your first buyers.
I'm also absolutely curious to listen your TDA1387 implementation.

Just to clarify that I'm a real lover of TDA family, here is two "jewels" from my collection:

Those double crowns sure are nice! Have you implemented them yet?

How did you implement I2S support for this DAC in Rune Audio?

I have similar question. Is this DAC supported in RuneOS?

The current 0.2-beta version does not have I2S support out of the box, the incoming 0.3-beta will do.

What has to be done to enable I2S support on a Raspberry Pi? My HiFiBerry DAC should arrive soon ;)

Hi,

What is architecture of TDA1543 (R2R, other)?

It is a multi bit and not a R2R DAC.

Yes, it's PCM multi-bit (as opposed to Sigma-Delta multi-bit), but what I would be interesting in knowing is what approach (architecture) is used to convert the bits into voltage.

Looking at the datasheet, the block diagram suggests some type of binary-weighted design.

Hi
On that card we are using a passive IV stage.

Nice!

But on-chip, referencing the block diagram, there is separate passive divider for MSB and LSB suggesting that this is some sort of binary-weighted design.

Correct?

Hi!

I intend to connect BerryNos DAC to cubietruck via I2S. Is that easy to handle?
