Re: BBC Radio

Just been trying to get Minimserver working. It all seemed to install correctly, using pushedtempo's http://www.runeaudio.com/forum/bbc-radio-t546-20.html#p5633 instructions with the latest version, 0.8.4 but the stations don't play.

I installed Minimwatch on the Pi too, and wonder whether that was the correct thing to do. Is it needed at all?

Or is an issue with the Minimserver, which says it's free to use until 30th June 2016?

Any help appreciated!

My problems getting the BBC feeds working were down to my own lack of understanding (and not following pushedtempo's instructions properly!).

If it helps others, the latest MinimServer version can be installed as follows:
Code: Select all
wget http://jminim.com/abra/MinimServer-0.8.4-linux-armhf.tar.gz
tar xf MinimServer-0.8.4-linux-armhf.tar.gz

MinimWatch is used on your PC/Mac only to add the MinimStreamer package to the MinimServer installation on the Pi. Download and run the appropriate MinimWatch package from http://minimserver.com/downloads/index.html. Once installed on your PC and running, shown as a tray icon, right-click this and go to the Properties section, select the Packages tab and install MinimStreamer.

Reboot Rune and then add the radio stations to My WebRadios as described in the original instructions.
