Autoplay, iOS/Android device detection

Postby watchdog » 18 Jan 2018, 10:48

Hello, I'm already glad I joined the community of Runeaudio.

Since now I was just playing from my hi-fi but wanted to try something new and more custom.

I already installed runeaudio, final version (0.4b) on my raspberry 2.
Everything is working fine but I would like to do something, I don't know if anyone asked before (searched forums).
I would like raspberry to check every 5-10 mins if there is at least one of my devices (one iPhone and one Android) connected on my network.
If there is at least one device available on the network, I would like it to play a specific play-list or web-radio. I guess it can be done with a cron job or something like this. But I don't have the knowledge to do it..

I'm using a build from BerryBoot specific in order to have dual boot with osmc (again from berryboot links).

Except the above mentioned feature, I would like to know if I can use OSMC and Runeaudio with single boot. I would like to avoid rebooting and choosing an OS.
