You need a patched kernel to get the new Allo Boss DAC to work.

A new Raspberry Pi 2/3 image with support for all the Allo DACs will be available next week.

The images on the Main Download Page for RPi 2/3 are over a year old.
Any chance on getting an early access, if these are available?
