Just for clarity , what is the sequence of events if I just want to use the Youtube addon ? I don't seem to get anything in the queue page . I loaded addon installer via SSH , then via UI loaded enhancements , then the Youtube addon and also updated . Gave up , uninstalled and tried again . Same thing happens . I get the following error when I load the Youtube plugin

ffmpeg is not installed, please run the MPM upgrade addon first.

I've trawled through this thread and can't see I've done anything obviously wrong but can't find this MPM addon , MPC is mentioned but I can only see an MPD upgrade . I'm a bit concerned about tanking this requiring a reflash as I can't find my card reader which would mean : no music...

Any ideas ?

cheers

Hi tuna,
I’m using the android app, internet explorer & firefox.
Both browsers are showing no call to youtube.php in the Network tab and both of them showing no errors.

Cool, I've identified the problem, the place I was using to inject the click handler isnt there in Franks version, ill work on a fix next release.

ffmpeg is not installed, please run the MPM upgrade addon first.

You'll need to run the MPD upgrade then install rune youtube. :D

It worrks . System gain seems higher .

One point to note is that when I rotate the volume knob on the GUI as I normally do to adjust volume , I now get an annoying prompt and also 'lyrics not available' popping up . See picture

cheers

Plug in works great and looks great but I'm finding the odd quirk here and there . If I hear a track I like on internet radio , I'll cut and paste the title into notepad . When I try it with the addons playback jumps to the next entry on the queue

cheers

The lyrics feature was removed from RuneUI Enhancement.
It's going to be a separated addon.

Please update. No more lyrics bugs for now.

(This is the same answer in another thread. I think I have to add links for each addon thread soon.)

Hi rern,
Is it possible to create a “Kernel Upgrade” Addon ?
Frank mention the procedure here :
http://www.runeaudio.com/forum/hifiberry-dac-not-detected-after-kernel-update-t4180.html#p18311

I think that it will be very useful to people who try to use new HATs like i.e. DigiOne.
Thanks in advance
